Portrait options

Being a long-standing photography business, we understand how uncomfortable some people can feel in front of the lens. We take this into consideration during all our portrait sessions and our friendly and professional photographers will make every effort to ensure your time with us is a relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

studio portrait
This is not just a portrait, this is an experience! We combine both traditional portrait shots for a more formal approach with an interactive session for the fun loving families that are a little bit crazy and love joining in. This approach to portraiture is involving, spontaneous and fun and we try to reflect the clients’ personalities with each session. Children can bring with them their own toys, sports kit/equipment, musical instruments and so on to personalise their portrait session. For the best results, try to co-ordinate your family’s wardrobe!

We charge just one standard fee of £25.00 for our studio portrait photography, which includes up to one hour in the studio with unlimited options for the quantity and style of photographs taken during your portrait experience. You then need to choose one of the options from the selection below that best suits your requirements.

Option 1: £50.00
A 30x40cm enlargement featuring a black border and a contemporary styled frame to suit your living space.

Option 2: £65.00
A 50cm x 23cm triple aperture enlargement featuring your favourite three photographs printed together in a contemporary styled frame of your choice.

Option 3: £125.00
A 40x50cm multi-aperture enlargement featuring one 10’’x7’’ photograph and ten 4’’x3’’ photographs of you choice. Framed in a contemporary styled frame to suit your living space.

Option 4: £200.00 GICLEE CANVAS WRAP
A 24’’x16’’ canvas wrap of your favourite image. The Fine Art printing service will transform your image into a Giclée canvas wrap of astonishing visual quality, creating a spectacular, gallery-quality reproduction.

Option 5: £225.00 PORTRAIT BOX
Choose your favourite ten images from your sitting and they will each be printed 12’’x10’’ and mounted individually on card. These will then be presented in a contemporary style portrait box. A stylish was to keep your photographs together as a collection or if you prefer they can be individually framed.

Other options:

location portrait - If you don't want the formality and limited options of a studio portrait, why not choose a location portrait. This can take place at a location of your choice (within a ten mile radius of Louth – a mileage fee of 55p per mile will be charged for any further distances), either inside or outside. This could be in your house itself or if weather permits, in your garden and this tends to result in a much more relaxed experience in familiar surroundings. If you want something really informal, you could even have photographs taken at a local park or other suitable outdoor location. This encourages a much more relaxed set of photographs and also removes any limit on the quantity of people (or animals!) in the photographs. We charge one standard fee of £75.00 for our location portrait photography, which includes up to one hour of photography at the location of your choice. This includes one 12''x8'' enlargement.

stepping stones - An approach to photography which is aimed at new parents who would like to record their child’s first year with beautiful studio photographs.

Babies change so quickly and regular photography helps to capture the baby’s first year in a way only a professional can guarantee. You’ll be able to look back and see your baby in every perfect detail.

There is a one off registration fee of only £20 that allows you to book three sittings at four-month intervals at a cost of £10 per sitting. You will choose your favourite photograph from each session and at the end of the year you will receive three beautiful portraits in a bonded leather portfolio album. You may, of course, purchase additional photographs for yourself or as gifts but you are under no obligation to do so.

portfolio – This package is ideally aimed towards musicians, models, actors, or any inspiring performer. Photographs include both close up and full length, black and white and colour. The price includes four 12x8 inch mounted enlargements of your choice. One person only. £150.00

makeover – This package would make the perfect gift for your girlfriend/wife/partner or any loved one as it includes a professional makeover by a qualified make-up consultant. Following the make over you will spend up to one hour in the studio having an assortment of styles of photographs taken. These can be taken wearing different outfits to suit your preferred style, whether formal and smart or informal and fun, or a mixture of both. Your images will be available to view on-line one week later and your favourite image will then be printed in either black and white or colour and enlarged to a stunning 16''x12'' photograph. Suitable for one person only but please feel free to bring a friend or partner with you if you prefer. £150.00

celebrations – The perfect record of an important celebration, whether it is an anniversary, engagement or any family gathering. Taken on location at family celebrations/events i.e. at a hotel or restaurant (within a ten mile radius of Louth – a mileage fee of 55p per mile will be charged for further distances), the price includes your favourite ten 6’’x4’’ photographs in a black leather album. Photographs can feature family groups, if appropriate, either formally posed or informal shots as people are chatting; maybe cutting a cake if the celebration is a wedding anniversary. Whatever the celebration may be, a record of the event is a lovely present or is the perfect way to get family photographs whilst everybody is together – which we all know, doesn’t happen very often these days! £125.00

commercial

publicity - Photography of an individual for promotional use. These can be used on a website or for promotional literature and are taken in the studio, head and shoulders. Includes either an emailed low-resolution image for website use or one 6’’x4’’ print. £35.00

criminal injury/legal - Photography for criminal injury/legal purposes. Includes a full set of photos taken, 6’’x4’’. £50.00

viewing your images

Once your photographs have been taken they will be edited and available to view on-line within one week. All images can be printed in both colour and black and white. Once you’ve chosen your favourite images you can choose from a wide selection of photograph packages to suit all budgets and requirements. This includes expert framing advice to suit modern or traditional interiors.
